This reader accompanies the exhibition “Positions on Free- dom. Design and Its Boundaries”, presented at the Muse- um Angewandte Kunst, Frankfurt am Main, in May 2026.
Positions on Freedom does not propose a fixed perspective, but rather a method. Through various elements within the exhibition, as well as the texts in this reader, the intersections of freedom and design are explored. The aim is not to arrive at a fixed definition of these intersections, but to offer an impression of (current) understandings and approaches to these topics.
