    The Bloom Table Lamp by Korean-Dutch designer Hun Lee embodies the idea of planting aluminum seeds that unfold into an object. The lamp merges the warmth of this abstract, almost mythological narrative with the hardness and practicality of industrial manufacturing processes. This duality creates a materialistic and aesthetic tension, evoking the ever-changing interplay between light and shadow. The lamp is semi-handcrafted. This means that the designer uses semi-industrial tools, such as a 3D printer, to create some of the lamp's components and incorporates aluminum parts produced by an external metal workshop, which he then assembles manually.

    The Hague-based (Netherlands) object designer Hun Lee creates works by reinterpreting the inherent characteristics and narratives of materials and production processes. His goal is to redefine how objects function within the contexts of society and culture.
