Meet Hannah Kuhlmann

Since a while now untitlab is on our radar. The brand launched in 2019 continuously surprises not only by its expressionist yet wearable designs, but by its overall aesthetic fueled by queer culture and experiences. In their SS25 Preview Campaign “The Beast Within" they presented big Reel Fisherman created boots made from rubber. Kind of leger these black floatation devices

Draping and counterintuitive silhouettes are part of Y/Projects design language since quite a while now. First appearances of larger than life boots that look like paper draped sculptures could be witnessed already in their SS 2023 collection. In the current collection this design was emphasized and supplemented by an interactive layer of fabric enhancing “creating custom volume and texture.”

The self-named Lord of the Kitten Heels strikes again. Famous for his ballerina boots or spike pumps Alicante-born designer Abraham Ortuño Perez and his label Abra serve post-glamour realness – but still kinda glamarous. A stand out, like always, are the shoes of his current collection. Mimicing shopping bags just pulled over actually heels to protect them from rain, these kitten heels are quintessential Abra.

Allegedly rick Owens has trained his instagram algorithm to serve him the most weird and innovative artists and disigenrs apround. Legend has it, that This is how he got to know the designer/artist Straytukay, whom Owens hired to design accessories for his collection. Straytukays inlfateable boots quickly became the newest hot thing in the sphere of puff-ification. Although we really love his dystopian quere-esk aesthetics even more than Rick Owens usually kinda same same but different vibe, they make us feel a little family resemblance to the designer Harri, who gained widespread visibility with his puffer collection in 2019/2020.

This latex big foot pant was part of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “NUKETOWN” by designer Rohan Mirza. It was created on cooperation with Loise Hulin and was actulally tattooed by several artists. At a first glance Its weird and quirky shape might contradict contemporary approaches on coolness. Its overall appearance however merges this object into a prosthetic persiflage of concepts of wearability.

Somewhere between absolutely memeablity and serious work of art the Alexander McQueen Hoof Boots are located. These actual hoof-heels (some of them even come with a proper pony-tail) channel in our opinion perfectly channel the whimsical yet complex design spirit of its belaid founder.

For those who always wanted to be a faun (or other more ephimere mystical creatures) designer Victor Clavelly cloths and accessories that could stem form a futurist theater fundus. His artistically advanced skills help him to easily blend historical references with new materials and radical aesthetics.
